these two light bulbs are topped with large, flat shades. They are hanging from beams that extend from between the second and third floors of my house. They really do light up my tropical jungle like daytime. It’s almost as if the beams of light actually turn corners and go underneath leaves and palm fronds to dispel all shadows, though that is a vast exaggeration. If you wanted bright than this is the best you can have .This would be justified using in a normal sized home workshop. These are for big, open spaces like warehouses or service bays. It is highly recommend them for that purpose, or any requiring powerful, single-bulb light. Placing overhead beneath flat shades could be ideal. Of course, there are home uses, just be sure you get the idea that these need space to be effective
